Speaker holds talks with
High-level
German Delegation
Deputy Speaker of House of Federation, Dr. Mohammed Serhaye,
held talks with high level German delegation led by the state
secretary of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation
and Development on 16th Friday 2006.
The state secretary Erich Stather on the occasion said that
his Ministry is very much desirous to working jointly with
the House on development agenda.
Various cooperation agreements have been signed between Ethiopia
and German, Stather said, and indicated plans to facilitate
experience sharing on a big-scale between the House and its
German Counterpart, the Bundesrat.
Dr. Mohammed on the occasion briefed the delegation on budget
allocation, constitutional interpretation, and the ongoing
democratization as well as on the development activities and
the resultant economic growth in Ethiopia to date.
The House of Federation draw useful experience from German
Counter part in future relation between the two sides, he
said. |
